Chromashift Educational Toys

Unleashing your child’s inhibitions is easy today even if the child has a learning disability. Today educational toys teach your children about history, math, and teaches them how to read. You can find educational toys that teach your child how to speak foreign languages. The toys are designed to develop your child’s abilities and skills, teaching them to grow healthy. Once your child reaches college, he or she will have more knowledge that helps him or her get ahead of education. In fact, the educational toys will help your child throughout elementary, central and high school. The children will have advantages since educational toys build comprehension and reading skills, which is the prime targets that help them to relate to any subject taught in schools.

Some of the common toys today include my favorite, Chromashift. This historical educational toy brings in a realistic depiction of reptiles. Its bio-mechanic ability to move makes this toy interesting enough to inspire your child to learn more about historical creations. The toy changes colors, which the purpose is to inspire your child to take interest in Chromashift.

This reptile has inspired many because it is a Discovery Channel replica and was seen on television. In fact, the Ellen Show introduced this fun reptile to millions of people nationally helping them to see how it benefits the child and helps them through development.

How the Chromashift works:
Chromashift has a motion sensor or bio-morphic which its advanced features uses organic elements to move around. This toy is robotic and has dual aggressive emotion-like features that help him to walk at his choice of speed. The colorful shift in his structure changes while it lights up giving your child the ability to watch Chromashift at angles view his surroundings. If you are familiar with the history of dinosaurs you will notice traits that help your child learn too what you know about this history. This robotic creature hunts his prey on all fours and stands to run using both his legs.

Dino-robot or Chromashift rather will whip that tail around as his head moves, snapping as he moves along, using his rear legs, Chromashift runs and jumps. Do not let your child try sneaking up behind Chromashift because he can sense the movement and will instantly make a run for it.

Robotic toys, such as Chromashift teaches your child to express emotions while showing him how dinosaurs demonstrated their emotional responses. The toy has a couple of moods that show his satisfaction, hunger, aggressiveness and submissive side.

Your child learns how to work this toy by using modes that function from remote control. He has an independent guard and using the switch, Chromashift will even fall asleep. Stereo sensors, which infrared sensors control his vision, produce the sounds and a laser picks up through sensor motion making Chromashift become aware of the surroundings in his environment.

What does my child get with Chromashift?
Your child gets the benefits of learning how historic creatures roamed the earth. Your child will also receive a hood with Chromashift as well as accessories. The hood fits comfortably over Chromashift face. The concept is to demonstrate Chromashift's ability to subdue his moods and relax.

In summary, the benefit your child receives from this educational toy is that he or she will learn that it is ok to show emotions. Your child will develop behavior patterns that help him or her take control. At what time your child sees that Chromashift becomes aggressive when he is hungry that when he eats he feels content. Finally, your child can program these dinosaurs to train him to show any emotion your child wants the Chromashift to display.

Child Development in Educational Toys for Tots

Child development is a part of life, which in too many instances it is left behind. Poor developmental skills are a problem in our system, which is part of the reason that technology came up with solutions. Now our children have a variety of educational toys, which include electronics, rings, rattles, sound sorters, shaper sorters, Luke toys, curiosity cubes and more.

How the cubes promote your child’s curiosity?
The cubes promote your child’s curiosity by helping him or her to enjoy multi-activities. The toy helps your child to enjoy play while refining his or her fine-motor skills and cognitive development. The Curiosity cube stimulates your child, since when the baby grabs the toy, touches it something new will take place. Your baby can click the toy, turn it, dialing new graphics or move the beads to a maze. Maze toys are great for teaching your child hand and eye coordination. Once the baby turns over the cube, he or she will notice a colorful disk that spirals down the toy. The child can turn the cube again to see rain sticks transparently spin around. Colorful balls and rain will inspire your child to enjoy nature. Your child will see his or her self grow in the mirror. Not to worry parents, the mirror will not break. The mirror is designed to stimulate your child’s visual. Your child learns to recognize self. Disks slither down the abacus, which helps your child to develop new motor skills, thus taking control of his thoughts and learning to count. The cube is ideal for children nine months and older. Your child will enjoy a six-side cube, which teaches him or her to explore the potentials.

Your child may include the musical toys that bring them audio fun time. The toy helps your child develop auditory skills. Your child can benefit from the toy, since it takes them on a journey to think logic. Complexity becomes simple once your child catches on to math he or she learns. Your child will develop Spatial Metaphors or imagery, which means your child learns to use the temporal lobe located in the brain. Your child benefits from the audio musical toys, since he or she can study music, audio play, and more. This toy will help develop your child’s intellectual mind as it build’s his or her I.Q.

Music is a healing source also, so not only will your child learn to love the sounds of music, your child will find a inner peace. As your child finds inner peace, he or she will learn effective listening skills, how to pay closer attention, hear with less problems and perceive things in a new light. Your child will develop rhythm that guides him through pleasant-sounding melodies that soothes the soul.

Children today need all the help they can get to develop properly and mature correctly. Today we are plagued with violent videos, games, television, music and so on. Our music today alone is enough to make parents turn down the volume, let alone the unfriendly views aside from violence on television that makes parents want to protect their children. Instead of teaching your children sex, hate and racism teach your children with educational toys that guide them to a successful path in life.

Your child may benefit from puzzles. Online you will find educational, puzzles that help your child develop new skills. Some of the puzzles offer your child the ability to stimulate the mind as he or she develops the ability to solve problems. Motor skills are lifted with some of the puzzles designed today. Your child will find loads of fun while solving puzzles. Your child can develop patience as he patiently solves his new puzzles. The puzzles bring education to a new light.

Nerf N Strike Stampede ECS - The Best Nerf Gun Yet

Comments (0)
Young boys have consistently had fun with guns, and that isn't likely to change at any time in the near future. This Nerf N Strike Stampede ECS stands out as the most recent offering in the Nerf array of playthings from Hasbro, and isn't going to disappoint your gun-obsessed little boy this coming Christmas season. The actual suggested age for this toy is 8, but naturally moms and dads will have their own opinions about whether or not their youngster is completely ready for this particular toy. The primary concern, aside from the obvious discussion about whether or not weapons of any kind are appropriate for children, is the reality that this specific weapon will get very weighty once you position the batteries inside it. It won't shoot without having batteries, so removing them isn't a solution.
It's actually insulting to this toy to call it a gun. Actually, an assault weapon would be a more appropriate designation, particularly when you observe it in operation. You can easily release a slew of darts when using the 18 dart clip system and then reload it and unleash it again on unsuspecting opponents. There's a pop out bipod to steady your shot or just to use as a regular bipod. There's also a blast shield to safeguard against enemy fire that is helpful for shielding your face, however you might choose to purchase the Nerf N Strike tactical vest intended for even greater body safety.
A positive point is that it is completely automatic and can shoot the darts out around 30 feet, after a little practice. These darts won't injure your opposition upon contact, though naturally you won't intend to target their eyes or face. Really the only drawback is that you simply are not able to make use of it without batteries, which means you should maintain a battery supply on hand since as soon as your youngster begins using this firearm he is not going to want to stop.
You will find there's an entire selection of Nerf guns available for purchase and a few youngsters may mix and match the various models, even though this is not advised by Nerf. Since there's lots of youngsters who already are Nerf enthusiasts, tracking down a few play partners really should not be hard. Many times Dad would like to play as well, with stories of kids discovering that their own parents totally monopolize this particular gift. If you'd like to get the most fun using this gun, purchase some eye clops goggles for improved night vision. You may need to first police the area being used, since you wouldn't want anybody to have an accident. Using Nerf guns after dark moves the fun element to a significantly greater level.
Are there any drawbacks to this particular plaything? Well, somebody certainly should create a dart finder! At the speed at which this Nerf N Strike Stampede ECS shoots 30 darts, it's possible to spend considerable time looking for the darts once the game has ended.

Timberworks Toys - High Quality Wood Toy Building Blocks

Comments (0)
We recently had the opportunity to visit the Timberworks Toys office and manufacturing location in Columbia, Missouri. While vacationing in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, we took a day trip to meet Chris Heston and tour the Timberworks Toy factory. Chris is a master cabinetmaker and at the suggestion of his wife took the idea of the traditional wooden, Lincoln Log style toys and came up with an unique new dimension on the old favorite as a toy for his son. The logs are notched so they interlock, but that is where the similarity ends. Timberworks logs are made of hard maple and the set also includes flat panels, triangles, and widgets, or "donuts" as Chris called them. These widgets fit over the ends of the logs to provide stability and strength to your child's construction project. Also included in the larger sets are sturdy plastic wheels that enable the child to make cars and planes and anything else they can imagine. All this comes in a bright red duffle bag to store the blocks when not in use.
But this description cannot totally give you the true picture of the toy. The logs are solid; the wood is smooth and has a quality that you can truly feel when you touch the pieces. The shipping weight of the product ranges from 15 pounds for the smaller set to 35 pounds for the King Set which gives you some idea of the sturdiness of the logs. One thing I noticed while we were in the office talking to Chris was that the supports for the countertop holding their computers, printers and other office equipment were made from the logs. These are serious building blocks!
We also toured the production area. Some of the machines were designed specifically by Chris for the first stages of the production. These pieces of precision equipment can make exacting cuts to replicate the logs to keep the pieces consistent so they will always fit together no matter which production batch they came from.
As impressive as the toy is, Chris' passion for the blocks is also infectious. As I said, he is a master cabinetmaker with twenty years of experience. He has thought this product out with the child in mind. How to make it safe, how the pieces fit so the child will be able to use it without difficulty, the educational value and just plain fun value. His slogan, which is printed on every box, is "made by a father for his son."
He also is totally committed to this heirloom quality toy to be totally made in the USA. He employs area workers, gets his lumber from suppliers in the US, and even the duffle bag is made in his home state of Missouri. Even when large furniture companies like the one in our home town has closed it's doors and put so many people on the unemployment lines, this new company is producing a quality product, providing people with jobs. And this Made in America philosophy is not just for the toy business, this is the way Chris looks all aspects of his way of life.
So whether you are looking for a great product to spark your grandchild's imagination, whether you are a parent who home schools, looking for educational, fun toys for your children, a classroom teacher looking for something special for your students, or just a mom or dad looking for something to share some quality time with your child, like Chris, Timberworks Toys wood toy building blocks will more than fill your needs.
On a side note, soon after our visit we found out that Timberworks Toys received the Parent's Choice Gold award for Fall of 2010. I doubt it will be their last award. It's such a great product.

Indoor Helicopter - Play Safe for Maximum Fun!

Comments (0)
Toy helicopters are excellent for children and adults alike, as they offer a lot of excitement and fun. Every toy shop is bound to have some sort of a remote controlled chopper that is a great gift during holidays and festivals.
Most people, when they think of RC choppers, think of the sophisticated, outdoor flying helicopters. Large toy helicopters offer exhilarating experiences to those intermediate and expert pilots who can fly them with practiced skill through the skies, and maneuvering around trees and people. The technology in large RC choppers is advanced, making them very expensive. The cost of maintenance and repair is also high.
Helicopters are bound to crash in the first few flights, and until you learn how to fly proper. Beginners should normally choose the less expensive helicopters to begin flying. Indoor Helicopters, which are cheaper than their outdoor counterparts, are perfect for new pilots to learn flying skills. Besides, small indoor choppers are more durable than the larger, advanced copters, and can withstand frequent knocks against walls.
To begin flying one, you will need to first place them on a flat surface and gradually lift them off the ground by pushing the throttle. Control is tricky and not easy to fly around and your maiden flight is bound to crash. However, with regular practice, flying becomes a lot easier, especially if you have a toy chopper with two levers, one for lifting and one for thrusting. These helicopters are also simple to navigate through the air.
There are many types of RC choppers available in the market. Some cheap versions do not have very long battery lives and re-charging is required every 7 to 8 flights. Others, of better quality, last longer. There are also helicopters that are designed for special aerobatics and they come in varied colors. Some older and cheaper versions are able to pick only one radio signal while the newer and expensive ones will pick a number of radio frequencies.
While they alone can withstand damage after several crash landings, Indoor Helicopters can damage the walls and windows of the house. Because they are flown inside a room, collisions with walls and windows during flight can cause the paint to chip or glass panes to break, respectively. Some safety features, like the helicopter material, are vital before buying an indoor chopper.
Outdoor versions are usually made of hard materials. If you are flying a mini outdoor chopper inside, take care not to fly the helicopter inside a room with expensive glassware or pottery showpieces. Fly away from the walls, as far as you can, and pull the drapes to cover glass windows. Do not fly near a power cable as fuel spilled from a copter crash can create a short circuit.
Indoor Helicopters made of foam or soft rubbery material cause less damage to furniture, windows, and individual decoration items around the room. Note however, that damage is avoidable. Indoor choppers are still capable of knocking things over and damaging breakable things around the room. Using an outdoor helicopter and flying it outdoors is certainly safer and a lot more fun in this context.
For more information on helicopter radio controlled, check out the info available online; these will help you learn to find the indoor helicopter!

Buzz Lightyear Jet Pack Action Figure - Let Your Kids Jet Around the Universe This Christmas

Comments (0)
Considering the popularity of Toy Story 3 this year, the release of the Buzz Lightyear Jet Pack doll is not really surprising. In case you haven't watched the films, Buzz is the spaceman who ultimately helps Andy rescue the other toys from becoming incinerated.
Buzz Lightyear has been in every Toy Story ever since the initial movie premiered in 1995. Many dads and even moms purchasing this toy for their kids most likely had other versions of Buzz and Woody toys themselves. The tale of Buzz, Woody and the rest of the bunch was a big hit not only when it was first introduced 15 years ago, but also because of the making of Toy Story 2 and now version 3. In the story of Toy Story 3, Andy, who is the owner of the toys, is growing up and is on his way to college. He boxes his toys to be saved in the attic, however they inadvertently wind up in a nursery school under the domination of an evil dictator, Lotso Huggin bear. This bear switches Buzz back into his original default mode, making him forget all about Woody and the other toys that are his good friends. Instead, he helps Lotso Huggin hold all of them captive while he trys to woo Jessie the cowgirl by singing Spanish songs.
The Buzz Lightyear Jet Pack action figure is similar to the TV version of Buzz, and this by itself would cause him to be an enormous hit. Yet he speaks more than 60 unique phrases with the exact same voice used in the movie, since Tim Allen gives him his recognizable voice. He has two completely different modes -- one being the toy mode and the other the Space Ranger mode. While he sounds pretty much like any other toy that talks when he's in the toy mode, he really comes alive when you move him to his Space Ranger setting. He will even protest in the event you mishandle him! He has popout wings with laser lights that take turns blinking red and green. The star command communication module on his arm flips up and makes a sound. He also comes with his pulsing laser light weapon.
If your youngster really likes Toy Story 3, you might consider buying Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 on DVD and let them delight in the entire collection. Grownups and kids alike really enjoy the adventures. Presently there are several additional characters from the film that are available, including Jessie, Woody and Lotso Huggin bear, therefore you're able to add to your collection. No doubt about it, the Buzz Lightyear Jet Pack action doll will certainly dominate the best sellers list for toys this season.
Evidently, this is THE Buzz Lightyear action figure to get among all the others. Find out why at my website BestChristmasMall.com
